The official Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV FAQ lists the Discord invite identifier discord.gg/dawnofwar4. You can also reach the community through the official game's Discord button. Use that route to identify the intended server rather than relying on a similarly named fan community.
The community is presented as a place for news, feedback and discussion. Joining it does not grant access to the game or guarantee selection for a test.
Find the official community
The simplest route is to start with the game's official Deep Silver page and use its Discord invitation. If you enter the invitation through Discord, compare the identifier with discord.gg/dawnofwar4 before accepting it.
- Open the official Dawn of War IV game page.
- Find its official Discord invitation or the identifier in the FAQ.
- Follow that invitation and review the destination Discord displays.
- Read the community's current rules and onboarding instructions before posting.
Server channel names, role requirements and verification steps can change. There is no verified channel-by-channel layout in this guide, so follow the actual instructions displayed after joining instead of looking for an invented role or menu.

This is the official community invitation, not an invitation to play the game or enter a beta.
Use it for the right updates
The official FAQ names Discord and the newsletter as places where new testing opportunities will be announced. The community is also described as a place to exchange feedback and keep up with developments.
Choose the next action according to what you need:
| Your task | What to check |
|---|---|
| Follow game announcements | Current official community updates |
| Look for a new test | A dated announcement with its application conditions |
| Discuss the game | The relevant space allowed by the community's rules |
| Resolve an account or access problem | The support route provided for that issue |
A discussion about a test is not itself an invitation. Look for the actual selection and access instructions.
If an invitation does not get you into the community
Return to the official game page and use its current invitation rather than repeatedly trying a copied invite from an old post. Compare the destination with the invitation named in the FAQ. A community sharing the Dawn of War name may concern an earlier game or be run by fans.
If Discord presents an account sign-in or a community onboarding step, follow the instructions actually shown there. This guide does not establish a special Dawn of War IV verification role, a payment requirement or a code that bypasses the community's entry steps.
Once you can read the community, choose the space that matches your purpose and its rules. For feedback, describe the relevant game mode and the issue you encountered. For an announcement question, include which dated update you mean. That gives the discussion enough context to distinguish a past test from the upcoming release.
If the issue concerns a selected test account or invitation, use the support instructions supplied for that test. A public discussion space is not proof that someone there can change access permissions, and posting repeatedly does not replace the selection process.
The October beta has ended
The Closed Beta ran from 21 to 26 October 2026. It is over as of this guide's 2 November update. An older message about applications or active beta sessions should not be read as an open invitation now.
That test did not have a private Closed Beta Discord. Participants were directed toward the usual community channels for discussion, while selected players received separate support information. There is therefore no reason to search for a promised private beta server based on that announcement.
For any future test, read its own conditions. The official channels can announce opportunities, but server membership and newsletter subscription do not guarantee an invitation. The full game is scheduled for 3 December 2026, with Commander Edition Early Unlock beginning on 30 November.
